Below you will find my heart rate numbers. I am doing 30 mins on the treadmill every day. The treadmill has 4 training programs, each one lasting 30 min. I am only on the first and easiest.
Any of you who follow me know I have had a very rapid heart rate for a long time. You also know that psych drugs completely messed my body up and how it has been a very long road back for me. (If you have no idea what I am talking about, go to the main page, and click the YouTube button for my videos.).
So what is training program 1? Well for starters the max speed is only 4 mph on that program (I will give a breakdown below), so basically a very fast power walk. Keep in mind we are ONLY talking a power walk when you see my peak heart rates.
I WILL NOT be updating this page daily, because, well I am lazy. However, I am keeping track in a log and will update this as time goes on.
OK here is the breakdown:
2 mins at 2.5 miles per hour
3 mins at 3.0 miles per hour
1 mins at 3.5 miles per hour
5 mins at 4.0 miles per hour
1 min at 3.0 miles per hour
1 min at 3.5 miles per hour
5 mins at 4.0 miles per hour
1 min at 3.0 miles per hour
1 mins at 3.5 miles per hour
5 mins at 4.0 miles per hour
1 min at 3.5 miles per hour
2 mins at 3.0 miles per hour
2 mins at 2.5 miles per hour
Total 30 mins. The treadmill is at a slight incline (which also is the max incline the treadmill has, but again its only slight.).
The goal is to try to do this every day for 90 days and see if I can get it lower. I would then, if possible move to training program 2. I keep reading online how after a workout people feel "pumped" and "full of energy". I feel like I want to die in the corner, in fact it takes hours for me to recover if not the full day. I have also been sleeping longer hours and instead of helping my fatigue, as of now it seems to make it worse. The last 5 mins of the 4 mph is a real struggle for me and usually when I hit my peak heart rate. The last second the treadmill is on I count as my ending heart rate.
I have experienced rolling heart palpitations sometimes during exercise. Hell I get heart skips and flop flops anyway, but that is a bit different, but again nothing I have not reported to doctors before.
OK for the stats see below: (For those who want my other stats I am as of 6/16/2012 age 36 - 5 foot 11 inches - 175 lbs) Sidenote: before I started my resting heart rate when I would wake up was 80-88 beat per min. Now most days it is 59-70 beats per min.

At this point I no longer feel like I am going to die as I go through the 30 mins. Somedays are better than others. I wanted to give this update because sometimes, and only sometimes, I feel like doing the 30 mins again later in the day. So, if you start seeing a date posted twice, it is not an error, it just means I did the treadmill program twice that day. OK now my numbers will continue below.

Sometimes it feels like I am not improving at all heart rate wise WTF!!!!! July 9th was 40 freaking days in a row of doing this shit and it peaks at 180!! Keep in mind 180 beats per min at only 4 fucking miles per hour. I want to smash shit.

Again, I am having a complete "What the fuck?" moment. I am now only 16 days away from my goal of doing at least 30 mins a day on the preset training program. My numbers suck ass, not to mention I am going back up again with my peaks and my ending heart rate the past few days has been complete shit.
I have already decided that after the 90 days I am going to get more aggressive, but everyday will not have peak and end heart rates listed (but random days will when I test how well my heart is responding by doing the same 30 mins program above). It wouldn't be possible, because sometimes I will be walking outside for an hour or two and also if I do the treadmill it will be a steady 3 mph for an hour or more, not peaks and valleys like that program has. The reason for 3 mph on the treadmill is because, frankly my knees are getting jacked up feeling from the impact. Three miles per hour is a lot more comfortable and it will be made up with distance, rather than speed.
But if anyone bothers to read this, seriously, why the hell is my heart so high still?
08/13/2012 - 30 mins 165 peak end 135
08/14/2012 - 30 mins 169 peak end 145
08/15/2012 - 30 mins 173 peak end 152
08/16/2012 - 30 mins 166 peak end 136
08/17/2012 - 30 mins 160 peak end 128
08/18/2012 - 30 mins 165 peak end 135
08/19/2012 - 30 mins 165 peak end 138
08/20/2012 - 30 mins 161 peak end 134
08/21/2012 - 30 mins 171 peak end 143
08/22/2012 - 30 mins 166 peak end 142
08/23/2012 - 30 mins 169 peak end 139 (5 flights of steps = 65 stairs)
08/24/2012 - 30 mins 171 peak end 146 (7 flights of steps = 91 stairs)
08/25/2012 - 30 mins 161 peak end 130 (10 flights of steps = 130 stairs)
08/26/2012 - 30 mins 161 peak end 132 (10 flights of steps = 130 stairs)
08/27/2012 - 30 mins 167 peak end 142 (12 flights of steps = 156 stairs)
08/28/2012 - 30 mins 165 peak end 139 (12 flights of steps = 156 stairs)
OK so that was my goal 90 days in a row, but it doesn't end there. Now I can do the treadmill somedays or walk outside on nicer days when I have time. My heart will only be measured on treadmill days. I started this at 175 lbs and I am now 161 lbs, so I lost 14 lbs. Which even though I am a small guy that is fine by me. All the weight lost seems to be in my stomach and love handle area. First days peak heart rate was 187 ending peak 165 a difference of 22 beats. Ending heart rate first day was 159 and ending on last day was 139, so a difference of 20 beats.
My heart rate still doesn't bounce back after exercise like it should, which is why walking outside is stepping it up a bit because I will be walking longer on days I do that, in a real world setting that a treadmill can not provide.

Casey Anthony still doesn't believe I can fix my heart and improve my other illnesses. Hey Casey! Do you want to watch me start walking outside and try even harder?

I am going to update this periodically from now on. I don't want to wear the chest strap daily as my heart day to day fluctuates. Plus I just don't want to see what its is doing day to day. So every so often I am going to wear it to update myself and others where it is at. Please review my heart rate from when I started and allow it to give you hope that you can very slowly bring it back down. Even if it is faster than it should be after all your hard work, it is still better than where it was. Every little bit counts.
12/11/2012 - 30 mins 170 peak end 144
As you can see that number is a lot higher than when I stopped doing daily stats. I have continued to do the treadmill every single day without fail, even through a stomach bug and one day where I almost passed out earier that morning. May not have been wise, but I am determined to do it daily unless I really can't. So I have no fucking idea why my heart rate is so damn high. I only checked today because yesterday it seemed pretty high and by a wrist count seemed to be floating near 180. The only thing that has changed since the last date is I am unable to afford the diet I was on [for new comers see top of this page and click the buttons]. Even if that is the reason why the hell do I have to eat like that to be somewhat normal when all those ignorant idiots are running around doing god only knows what to their bodies and here I sit with this issue. Oh and if an actual doctor ever reads my shit please contact me if you aren't going to give me some damn run around like I have gone through for years [meaning YOU will treat me and order testing in my local area. I don't care having everything faxed and mailed to you, just maybe someone should do something before I fucking drop dead.].
